Hyundai has announced their newest entry in the hybrid and electric category, the 2018 Ioniq line.
The Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid has an MSRP of $23,035 which is about $2000 less than the Toyota Prius. Those figures are both prior to any state or federal tax credits. For the full electric Ioniq, the MSRP is $30,035.
The Ioniq nets an EPA fuel economy rating of 58 mpg, which is best in class. That figure is for the Blue trim level. If you step up to the SEL or Limited, the fuel economy rating goes to 55 mpg.
The Hyundai Ioniq Electric gets an MPGe rating of 136, which makes it the most efficient vehicle sold in America.
