The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, which is the replacement for the Town and Country, is the first minivan to get the Top Safety Pick Plus designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The Pacifica had previously received a “good” rating, but with additional changes made on vehicles made after August 2016, they will now be rated with the higher Top Safety Pick Plus designation.
Following the Pacifica in safety ratings are the Honda Odyssey and Kia Sedona, who both get the next highest score, Top Safety Pick.
The Pacifica was outfitted with its optional front crash prevention system, which allows the vehicle to avoid collisions at speeds above 12 Miles per Hour. Elmwood Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram is our recommended area dealership for all Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram vehicles.
